This page explains how we handle your files and data when you use Wathiq.
Local file processing
Files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers in the tools marked as local processing. This currently applies to every Wathiq tool: merge, split, extract, delete, reorder, rotate, page numbers, watermark, and PDF/image conversion.
Accounts and personal data
Wathiq has no user accounts today, so we do not collect or store any login credentials or account-linked personal data.
Local storage in your browser
We use your browser's local storage only to remember the tools you recently used and the ones you favorited, so you can find them again more easily. This data stays on your device only, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings or by clearing the site's data.

Wathiq does not currently use any tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
Updates to this policy
We may update this page if how the platform works changes, for example if we add a tool that needs server-side processing. We will clearly disclose any such change before it takes effect.
